I have three silkies, all of which are notoriously camera shy/uncooperative, but I managed to snap a few photos of my favorite, Gingy....4+ weeks old. Any input on gender is greatly appreciated.

It's a girl I'f it doesn't start makin all them rooster noises and stuff in the mornin they wake me up all the time. Btw they are good with gravy

Those look like streamers, which would mean cockerel. Do you have a good comb and profile shot?

This looks like a boy to me, but it's still too young to be certain.

I'd say 1 is a cockerel and 3 a pullet, not sure on 2 but I'm leaning towards cockerel. Post new pics in a few weeks if you can

Those are the only shots so far, but the comb is quick compact so far and (she-he) has small wattles as well. Thanks for your opinion!

x2, agreed. If there are streamers then it's definitely a boy.

That is good towards a pullet, the 'streamers' usually remind me of a sliked back guys hairdo... not straight up, i have a pullet gaining some new head feathers and she looks like that all straight up spiked, she's definitely a she...

It's the swooped back straight out feathers that get me going oh, here we go.. cockerel
