Well guys I'm gunna need some help if you please. I seem better at guessing with your silkies than my own. I'll post one to start and try to get pics of the other and more/better pics of this one tomorrow as well.

They are both 17-18.5 weeks and I haven't seen any visible squatting or heard any crowing. I've been going back and forth since 6-8 weeks old on the two of them one has almost no crest and I just can't get a handle on them. I know one of their hatch mates is a cockeral for sure and is very handsome.

These two were a white roo over a grey hen.

I believe it's the second picture that the chick really seems to be standing like a cockeral. The crest seems nice and round but now I'm swearing it has streamers developing. Then I think we'll okay I did have one silkie hen that had almost streamer-esque things and I swore image was a cockeral but she finally layed around 8-9 months and layed the largest egg of any of my silkies. Ugh idk this guy's are giving me fits. I also have no clue how the other one I will post tomorrow has no crest! Like nil. It's odd.

I think its a pullet.

Ugh oh no another Hermaphroditus chicken until it makes itself known! Ugh as I said we had two of these last year that everyone was split on. They both turned out to be pullets in that instance one being my favorite bird but idk why these silkies are so hard to tell when others I can tell at much younger. Perhaps it's just the line. *sighs*
Anyone else have any guesses on little chick number one?

Yes I said Hermaphroditus chicken on purpose. Lol believe it or not we had one last year that we called the hermaphrodite for months until she layed an egg. Her real name was actually Jilligan, Gilligan if she had turned out to be a boy. Lol
