Just impossible to know at this time unless you are familiar with how a particular line develops. Watch those combs. They both look a bit large to me which would indicate boys...

If it helps any, the black chick is from Karen Larson of Catdance Silkies and the buff's parents are from Huckleberry Farms.

The picture doesnt show some things that would be good to be able to see.. does it have streamers on the back of the head.. Sort of looks like it might... the comb doesnt show well but looks like it is bigger from what I can see. Standing more upright.. wing carriage.. all look boyish to me but cant really tell from this picture. How old is it ?

5 week old splash. Any idea male or female? We can't have roo's in our city limits, so I am hoping female so I can go pick her up from the breeder this week!
