silkie sexing

I thought it was a roo it was so rooish. I will say she didn't carry the note as long though. The crow came from my back enclosed porch two different times with two different broody hens. At the time they were the only chickens on the porch. When they are with the flock i assume they still do it but i just have to many roos out there to know for sure.
Actually crow like a roo or a wannabe crow?

Hello I'm wondering if these are pullets or Roos ? Thanks

Sorry, not the best pictures. I posted this bird up somewhere earlier in the thread and everyone said pullet. What do you all think now? Its about 7 months old. Notice those cape-like hackles? My pullets don't get that. It doesn't have streamers, but its still got lots of pin feathers in its crest (if you can believe that!). No big comb or wattles, but it does have a wide comb. Its father was bonnet crested and had a very small comb, he took a looong time to mature. I knew he was a rooster by 5 months old and he didn't start crowing until somewhere around 8 months. This splash has me seriously confused! Thanks again :)

Well, it looks like a pullet to me, but I don't have much experience with Silkies, so I could be wrong.
