They were selling straight run silkies at TSC, and my husband picked up six of them for me. This was one of them about three weeks ago, they are now feathering out, but four of them are HUGE compared to the other two of them. I am wondering if that is a male-female thing. I can try to get recent photos of them posted to show size comparison.

Hard to say, since they are small in the photo, but id say you have one pullet an one roo. The one on the right in the second picutre, you ca see his crown is swept back(roo), vs straight up like the one on the left.

We are very new to silkies and we believe Flump, the fuller head of feathers (iin the single photo eyeing up the camera) was the roo!
suppose only time will tell.
I shall continue to attempt getting decent pictures !

I know it's too young to say, but doesn't this seem like a lot of comb for a 2.5 week old chick? It's ok with us if it's a roo, thankfully.
