silkie sexing

I see a few that do look like roosters but some hens get big combs too. The best way to know of one is crowing is to sit with them for a few mins when you first let them out. Usually that when they crow the most. That will help you pinpoint your roo. That's how I knee at 12 weeks. All 3 of mine turned out to be roos lol

OK I'll try that thank you so much for the advice

My 12 week old blue cream chick is really starting to fill out. I'm thinking cockerel; comb is developing and he's chest bumping his little Serama buddy. Any input is appreciated.

Any ideas or guesses? It does fight with the other little roosters once in a while but not as often as the two Brabanter Roos I have do. And they also fight with one for sure bantam Cochin pullet I have. Fight as in, extend their wings at one another. This one is the only chick I have no idea with...

So my dad brought me home 3 little silkes 2 are 4 months old and the 3rd is 3 months old. Anyone have any ideas if they are pullets/roosters? I'm thinking the youngest is a pullet and the older 2 are roos?
