What about this one? 10 ish weeks
He/she has started making loud drawn out noises but not sounding like a crow yet.

I've got a 10 week, almost 11 week old that I'm stumped on. I'm hoping girl but wonder if I'm wrong! The pictures are taken of a moving target so are not the best!

So one of ours had a pretty dramatic change over the last two weeks and now looks totally rooster to me. Our other silkie is in the background of one pic...same age, no waddles.

Hi I have a 13 week old silkie. When she was younger I was sure she was a pullet because she was hatched with only one other silkie and they were total opposites. The other one was bigger, braver and with a bigger appetite. She was small and skittish. Where he developed wattles and a larger comb by two months, she did not. However now at three months I have noticed that in addition to being very nervous she is also quite aggressive. She pecks me when I try to touch her and has been fighting with my Pekin cockerel this week. Proper brawling with him on more than one occasion. My larger hen had to break them up. So does this mean she is actually a he?

Looks female to me...... but I'm new to silkies this year. I don't see much comb & no wattles. Strange that your silkie is aggressive. Ours only run TO us (never away) & complain when they don't get picked up. They're constantly underfoot! Are the males trying to mate your silkie? Could it be self-defense?
