You might be fine keeping both with hens if you wanted to keep them both, I know you said you were attached to them. They grew up together so they have their pecking order worked out. Wouldn't hurt to try if you wanted a shot at keeping the other one too If you wanted to do that you'd just have to make sure you got enough hens so that they aren't getting over mated.

They have actually only been together for a few weeks. Both where brought as older chickens. I think I want to try my hand at showing. So I may just keep the buff. He has gorgeous blue ears.
