We have 11 pullets and 1 cockerel. We have one black silkie. She was hatched in early January. She has recently started laying about a egg a day, sometimes every other day. She lays her eggs on the ground because she cannot get up into the nesting boxes. Yesterday, every time I was out at the coop/run she was up on the roosting bars. She didn't even come down when I let everyone out to free-range. As I thought about it, she was likely up there the day before as well. Today is the same. I took her down and she scratched around, ate some cucumber and feed and went back up. She did not lay an egg yesterday. I am not sure about the day before. Thoughts?
