Silkie tail feathers

I adopted a white silkie last week and was told she was most likely female but they were unsure of her age. I have noticed her tail feathers are bare and I don’t know if this is to do with age or not but I don’t remember my silkie cockerels which I had from chicks looking like this.

Possible could have had them pulled out by another bird?

She may have been feather pecked or she may just have poor quality feathering - time will tell the tale.
