My silkie banty cross has a pure silkie mom( either black or white...I have both & they share eggs & raised the babys together)& the dad was a banty with a lot of silkie in it. All four babies looked like silkies. One was a big gray roo & the other two were colored like this one only the shades were darker & they were roos as well. I was thrilled that they looked so much like the silkies. Two had the silkie personalities & two were more like the bantys. I found a picture of daddy. posted below. Thanks all for looking. I love talking to chicken people. My family laughs at my love for chickens. I was so glad to find this forum and find out that other people like watching chickens like I do!

I went to check on broody silkie and look what I found in the next box. Hopefully she is going to start laying eggs. Isn't just so cute!!
