Oh thank you! My flock is new to me this summer, so I'm still in the phase of "must hatch every egg I can get" but the only one I had laying I think has stopped for winter. Come spring time I suspect I will have far too many eggs, which will break me of this incubation addiction I have going on, and then I may have to share.

One of them looked like it was in shock the day before, went out to their coop and found him dead.
the other went missing no sign of feathers or anything, its the same thing that happened with my first ever hatch.

I am sorry! Is anything able to get into your coop? Are they with their moms when they go missing?
So get this, I post an ad on craigslist trying to find my splash silkie rooster a new home. Today I get a call, the lady says she's interested in the cute fluffy little "PUPPY" trying to find a new home. And I have to try and convince the people that the picture on there is not a puppy, that it is a chicken.
