Christie, they are beautiful!!!!!
Blue (my roo) was named Celeste at birth but at ~4 months of age we figured out he was a "Blue" he crowed. He was the first ever shipped egg that I hatched or any egg for that matter, so he is very special to me.
I am trying to raise Silkies that I can show locally and maybe on to bigger shows LOL.
So am trying to learn all about them.

same here but buying eggs are cheaper thats what im going to do once i get a incubator. one breeder wanted me to buy her SQ pair for $600 yet i could get 12 eggs for sooooo much cheaper
