how much should i sell this pair for or should i even sell them? hen is dirty cause she is impossible to keep clean...i gave up trying. they are about 2 years old and are from a breeder. im thinking about starting bid for $25 at my 4h poultry auction. in the spring im buying alot of silkie chicks from a few breeders so i need to make room.

Thank you!!! In a couple weeks, all my PQ silkies will be rehomed or sold. It makes me a bit sad, but I have found nice homes for all of them. Most of them are staying local, too! I plan to use their coop for a black silkie pen now so that I can breed black to black. I will also have a blue, black, splash pen as well as a buff pen comes spring time. I was doing away with the buffs, but now I've decided to get a select few that I will breed. I already have our gorgeous SQ buff pullet, so I need a great boy and a couple more nice pullets for that pen. However, I will probably wait until spring to purchase those. I am currently looking for a gorgeous black boy for my black pen....keeping my eye out for something REALLY special. I'm very picky about who I use to breed with.

im sooo aggravated with my roo ....... he did the number one no no

he first attacked my leg as i went into the pen then he chased my poor little cousin around the neighbors yard!!!! luckily they had a trampoline and the dog took his attetion off of her

hes never treid to get anyone but me.. so its never bothered me but she did nothing to provoke him, heck all i was doin was feeding the little snot and he jumped my leg and got the back of my heel... im soo aggravated and soo bummed :'(

As a warning to those of you selling silkie eggs and birds here on BYC, there has been a rash of non-paying bidders purchasing birds and eggs and then not following through with payment for various reason.

At this time, Nifty has chosen not to introduce any new rules about BST and I honor that. However, there are several of us that have been stiffed the last week and we just wanted to warn everyone.

Hi, I'm new to Silkies. I purchased eggs from a few BYC members this summer. I'd like your opinions on the birds I hatched, these pics were taken a few days ago. Please excuse the dirty feet, we had 5 inches of snow last weekend and temps in the teens at night. Then it went up to 60 degrees on Thanksgiving so things were kind of slushy around here.
My Lavendar Pullet, she seemed to like posing for the camera. She's about 4 months old. Her color might look washed out in the pic, but she's a nice even lav color.

My Black Pullet about 5 months old.

White Roo about 4 months old.

These all came from the same person.
