Silkie thread!

sager:)silkies :

I hoping my chickens don't got coryza

You honestly don't have much time to think about it or worry what it is and what it isn't- he won't last that long without drugs. I'd get to the vet asap. If you can't do that, get the Tylan that Sonoran said to medicate with. I'm personally, just dealing with a little sneezing in a couple of my birds... and my vet told me it can turn deadly VERY quickly-- like over night they die if left untreated. (I saw the vet yesterday) Hopefully you are already treating with drugs at this point, as it's the next morning.

Weather does not in and of itself cause illness. However, it can foster conditions that make it more likely for clinical level of illness to develop. Weather extremes cause stress, and stress lowers immunity. Lower temperatures can prolong the life of germs that would die under higher temperatures. I do not believe silkies are any more prone to illness than any other breed. A specific LINE may perhaps be, but there are none that I am specifically aware of. Your best bet at preventing illness is keeping your birds immune system built up, making sure they have a dry, well ventilated (but not drafty) coop, clean water, quality food.

guys my chicken is up and running around and great news just found out that the tissue that was around his nostrils broke and then it bleed which covered his nostrils completely so it was hard to breath and made him weak and his eyes were closed from the goo that came out from his nose when he broke the skin he is fine now but ima keep him inside for couple days to be sure
