THE SILKIES ARE HERE!!!! Got them St Run because they ROCK and will be fun as mutts for my variety flock and having a half marans half silkie (if im VERY LUCKY) will look like a silkie and lay chocolate eggs. Yum! EGGS! (Cuckoo Marans, Buff Silkie, White Frizzle Cochin, Barred Rock, White Leghorn, and two mutts that i LOVE: they are in my sig. Crazy flock lol)

well here are my 10 Catdance silkies I hatched on Wed. Nov. 30...

and here are my two silkies that survived the hawk attack...the blue is a boy (3months old) and the white girl (4-5 months)...

I got 2 lavender, 3 buff, 2 blue/splash, 1 porcelain, (and I had a paint egg hatch but that is the light colored chick with the stripe? so I think it is maybe silver partridge?) and a full partridge.
 
Ok, Silkie owners, how are the Silkie roosters? I think it would be fun to try a Silkie, but they are only ordered as straight run and not sure I'd want a roo of this breed? Feedback...
