I KNOW !!!!!!!!!!!! ME TO !!!
I tell myself no more for right now BUT then I am always watching the auctions. I am dying to set eggs but I have to wait until I get back from vacation. My sister is taking care of my birds but she knows nothing about little chicks .It's killing me

I watch the auctions faithfully... though I tell myself I have no plans of buying any right now....
If only I can hold out till Spring!

Just popped into this thread for some advice....I just had a mom call me who's daughter is wanting to hatch chicks for her science fair project. She was going to have to buy an incubator buy & find eggs, buy brooder the whole deal, so I offered to incubate for her, but the girl had to handle the project, read some books etc. but that I would help her.... so guess what kind of chickens she likes!!!

silkies!!! and polish Two breeds I know NOTHING about.... so I'm at a complete loss of where to get hatching eggs for silkies and polish that are good quality. Aside from just poking around the auctions, does anyone have any suggestions??
