The woman I got them had two pair of white silkies and the hens did not have feathers on their feet, I was kind of disappointed to see that. I think these guys are going to be barefooted as well. :-( I'd really like to get my hands on a really nice silkie chick, or maybe I'll buy an older nicer one if I go to any of the upcoming shows in NY.

yeah every since i got my girls i just cant help but to take pictures of them... and as crazy as it may sound i want to print some out and hang em around the house... lol owning pet chickens has me adoring chicken artwork & why not have some awesome pictures of my girls?! lol![]()

You know that I made myself a book through Shutterfly.com, a little photography book. I do a lot of photography as a side job. So of course my Silkies had two pages worth of pictures in the book! lol With that said, printing and hanging your silkie pictures around the house doesn't sound crazy at all!

my plymouth is exactly the same way... she dart right in front of the lens . the other day i was trying to snap a picture of my "babies" (my human kids) and she too felt that she needed to be in the shot.... o i can wait for my girls to be old enough to sit on eggs!!! how exciting!
