carefully ...............Usually I wash the body of the chicken first and giving the feet special attention then I change the bath water for a rinse. When that part is complete I wrap the bird in a large towel and hold them foot ball style with the head exposed, tilt the bird so I can wet the head, wet and add soap and rinse the same way. They do tolerate a little water getting into their nostrils. Now it is time for the blow drier.Okay seeing all these pictures of wet silkies brings up a question of mine. How do you wash their crests without getting water in their little ears?
