Silkie thread!

Strange, looks like a different bird. I wouldn't think the lighting would affect only the head...yep you're right looks more blue in second pic.

So, I'm wondering what a buff silkie rooster over a dark partridge silkie hen would make? Would it make light to normal partridge silkies? I recently got a very pretty dark partridge hen who had been in with a show quality buff silkie roo and am wondering what the babies would be if I were to hatch her eggs out.

My buff x partridge have come up with so many different colours. Blue partridge, buff, white, black, blue, lilac colour, splash..
But I'll let someone else add to this :p

Day 20! My silkie/ showgirl eggs have started to hatch! I have 4 pips and one early hatcher

looks like a silkie lightblue maybe even lavendar, still a little wet but oo soo cute!

Just had 1 i think is white maybe porcelian silkie and one black showgirl hatch! 3 out of 12 hatched so far. 2 pips! And movement in the others.
