After waiting on one of my silkie pullet lay there first egg (I have about 3 between 6-8 months No eggs and a 4 month old Porcelain chick ) started to hear one of my chicks start to crow, so I go outside to see whos the new boss and its my 4 month old Porcelain pullet trying to crow!!

Just thought I'd share some recent pictures of my 4 oldest Silkies. I think they're somewhere around 4 months now.
My favorite, Tina. She hopped out to see me when I was filling up their feeder, which prompted this little photo shoot. For some reason, Tina has me convinced that she needs a name change (as in a more manly name). She's alot bigger then her coop mates, and has been honking at me lately. But I'll still love her if she turns out to be a dude, and it'll solve the issue of being rooster-less. Eh...

And Wednesday, my daughters favorite. I'm suspicious about this one as well. Its recently had an explosion of feathers come out in its crest though. So I'll say *she* is looking alot more round now then when I took these pictures a couple of days ago. Thanks for looking!!!

I don't know about good or not but I wanted to post this photo I took today because I don't know what the heck these two cockerels were doing. Is is a "who's got the fluffiest butt?" contest.
