You order then directly from Catdance Silkies.

She sells them here on the forum, kelar as her name. I ordered a batch myself and got some cuties.

Karen (Catdance) is a way cool person!! I spent several hours over at her place, on Wednesday, picking her brain and checking out all of her beautiful birds. She is an absolute fountain of information and a kind person who is willing to share her experience- both the good and the bad.

I, SOOOO, want her property. It is just lovely out there!!

Sheila :)

Really? I figured it had partridge but the black and gray just got me thinking it might have another color.
Usually all the partridges I see start with a yellow chick with brown markings.

I really want to take a trip to her place and see her birds. I like to see, in person, what I am striving for with this breed. Not that the pictures aren't great on here. But seeing them up close and personal would be fantastic. Sheryl Butler is another person I am thinking I will visit. She lives a few minutes from me.

Took a few pictures yesterday :

I love the shades of partridge. I was wondering is there a specific way to get these colors or do you just have to have two lighter colored partridges hatch some chicks kinda thing? Those are beautiful!
