This is one of my 6 chicks that hatched from catdance. I have several more of hers in the bator right now LOL


as you can see it's a partridge but not your everyday color. This one has gray/silver coloring.

What color egg did yours come out of? Partridge? I have a chick like this also, out of my Catdance eggs, and it came out of a Paint egg.

I didn't get paint nor partridge eggs LOL
It had to come out of my lavender egg
And my other lavender egg apparently gave me a blue chick lmao

Hard to believe my babies are just over 3 months old and still peeping. They're looking so grown up

also hard to believe than in a single month I went from having no silkies to having 8. I don't see why I haven't gotten them earlier, they're such sweet birds

This guy.. Hope a girl... Is a Roger/Vanilla baby. There is a lot of grey/blue in its fuzz along with that lovely gold coming in on the wings. It was black and golden when it hatched...


As you can see, this is the faverolle cross.. Go Mr. F! Guess when he decided to hop the fence, he hopped it. Anyway, those blackish brown feathers coming in on her wings are FUZZY! Not just fuzzy, but curly fuzzy. In the pic below, what you may think is a tail sticking up is actually wing feathers sticking up that much. Isn't it AWESOME! I created the ULITMATE Silkerolle.

Hi everyone! I am back again; trying to figure out these little ones colors (and show off a bit)! They all look the same right now and are 4 weeks old. They are hard as heck to get a pic of; the wont stop moving!

Is the henin the forground a broody and these are her chicks. I can't tell if they are blue or black but they will be fun for you since most Silkies are fun.

I brought one of the siblings in to keep it company, they seem to be happy in their little box. lol
