Good advice, hahahaha. No I wouldn't want to deceive anyone so it will be what it will be. I was just wondering if it would be healthier for the chick not to have that sticking out getting caught on something. Thanks!!!You could trim it off (the extra piece of toe), like removing the dewclaw from a puppy. However, that would be wrong. First, it would be considered faking, would DQ the bird from shows and destroy your reputation if it was caught (mind you, I'm not saying you would do that, it's just what would happen to anyone).
The main thing, it would do you no good because it would still be there genetically. It would be like marrying someone that had a secret nose job and then wondering why all your kids had funny noses!![]()
