Hope you all notice that I changed my avatar photo. Here are recent photos of my girl, Silk! She came from a Catdance egg. Love her!! She is 6 months old now.

Phyllis is sooo pretty.  My cockerel has that caramel coloring coming out around his neck.  I think it's striking.

Sue, I agree with peepblessed I looooovvvvee the color of your partidge roo!!!!  Mine has alot more rust.

Thanks Carolyn he is a pretty boy and I can't get over his fluffy pants so cute. You can kind of see how fluffy his legs are here.

I can not, keep up with everyone here...all I can say is, I have just gone through some pages with some beautiful birds! They are all just gorgeous!
I will share a pic. of my young pullet..Cotton..bet ya cant' guess what color she is. Still has some growing to do, but I think she is a pretty girl
And, a picture of..drum roll please....an egg, from my Blue Splash. I knew she was getting close, she has started squatting. Such a sweet girl. And, I found it right where I figured I would find it..on the ground, outside the coop, and NOT in a nest box. Little stink. Going to make changes for the Silkies, different pen, hoping they will like the area of boxes better. We will see I guess.

Not a bad sized egg for a pullet..I know it can go either way with the first eggs, I am
hoping it will get a little bigger anyway. I compared it to my NH's egg she laid for me
today.

The NH has been laying for a couple of months now. I love the color of the Silkies egg.
A nice dark cream color.

The egg is really dark for a silkie egg. Mine are always just an off white.

Sweet girls, these Silkies. People that come by, and have never seen one, always do the...ooooohhh maaan, what is that kind? It's sooo pretty! Ha, my sister said, now, if I had chickens, I would have one of every color of those! They are fun.
