Thanks!  I hope my feed store has it.  We have 2 feed stores in the area- but in June, by Dad fell down at one, went to bed, and never woke up again. SO...I can't go there.  But, we have a TSC about 45 minutes away.  If not- everyone can eat non-pelleted feed.   Pam   ps- I'm at peace with Dad- please don't think I was asking for pity .

They don't need pellets, I just find it's less waste, and if they are used to pellets, it's fine. Crumble is preferred by my birds, but it is also scratched all around and wasted.

I have been giving them layer pellets because I can get it by the pound cheap. Oh well... I guess I will have to change it.

Layer is about the same as grower here, but you should change it. Use what you have first.

Huh.. I've even had chicks on it with no problem. Worth mentioning though, so thanks. I don't have a choice. It's crumble or nothing.
