Silkie thread!

Could some one please respond. I need to know!!!
If you have no other hens that are laying or close to laying age, one of the Silkies had to have laid the egg.

I'm pretty sure my partridge pullet has started laying eggs. She's about 7 months..maybe 7,5 now. She's been laying down in the coop, like a broody hen would. I can't know for sure because we have several hens in the pen laying, but I'm about 95% sure that the smallest eggs I keep finding are hers.
 
Based on the information given, it's possible your silkies laid it. What other chickens do you have with them? Check the vent of the hen you think laid it, compare it to another nonlaying hen's vent to make sure. It should be considerably wider.
I have Rhode Island reds, a barred rock, buff Orpington, Easter egger, Red Cross, and houdan. They are all laying. Ok. Thank you.

Yea we have Rhode Island reds, barred rock, buff Orpington, Easter egger, Red Cross and houdan. They are all laying. Ok thanks for the info.
