The silkie I just hatched yesterday.

I had the buff looking one out and it looks like it has really light partridge markings on it, so maybe a bad colored partridge? They are hatchery stock for pets, so wasn't expecting anything spectacular

Give her some vitamins and electrolytes and/or sugar/honey water. See if that helps. Make sure she is eating and drinking too.

Could be anything coming from hatchery stock.

It's marked down its back. I bought two and the other one is lightly painted but has a band around its leg. It reminds me of an ankle monitor.

Not a silkie, but my poor little "thing 1" has come down with wryneck

Found him this morning. Have him stablized on the dog bed and giving him poly-vi-sol and wet food mash with egg.

Here a couple I phone pics of some of my new babies. A paint, porcelain, and I believe a self blue but hard to tell by pick and I don't remember which It is. It might be a cuckoo.

I had not realized you were guessing colors, but I would guess White, Partridge and Blue. Does the White have any black feathers on it (paint)?

I have a question on breeding silkies if anyone can help. I have a paint roo with 3 black girls and I want to and a blue girl. Does anyone know what blue and paint will produce? I haven't done it but I am interested to know what could come from the pairing if anyone has ever done this breeding. Can someone post a picture or a possible color chart for the color pairing.

I believe Paint is Dominant white over Black with leakage. If you add Blue you will have "Blue Paint" which is Dominant White over Blue. in half the chicks. However, if there is other genetics involved in the Paint I have no clue there.
