Silkie thread!

his age is 4 to 5 months and he is experiencing the crooked neck from last 4 days...its eating and drinking alot as he eats and drinks alot from 1st day thts why his growth is much more than others, i m giving multivitamin as well in which vitamin E is added but not selenium. Actually, my chicks multivitamin course was already going when i saw him crooked neck...today i give him vitamin E with selenium seperately first time, vitamin E is in capsule and selenium is in liquid form. i planned to break the capsule and put selenium in it...mix and put it in the syringe and shower it in the sick chick's mouth but the vitamin E is in gel form as it was not injecting in the syringe. so i put a drop of selenium in it, out some water and let the chick drink...he drink it but not all but atleast something he drink...i m very much in tension tht he will become ok or.....

Just watch out you don't overdose him and he can pull through it. My rooster had wry neck as a baby. Also, Peter Brown suggests using baby aspirin, 1 tablet 3 times a day. It reduces the swelling in the brain. If you can wet down some food to a dough consistency and put the tablet in it so he can eat it whole, it would work best.

What do y'all think of my non bearded rooster? His foot feathering is really excellent on one foot as where the othe he has broken some. He has a good dip with his tail high up and alert.
