Silkie thread!

If you can see blood don't interfere . Best to just " sit on your hands " for now.

She is still sitting in the egg shell under the mama hen. She is still breathing and doing fine. There is no yolk that I can see in with her. Also the blood has gone down and the mama has pulled at the membrane too. Should I concerned?

So pretty! I especially love the two headed silkie in pic 2!

The chick is hatching! There is blood all around her, and the inner membrane collapsed around her. She is sitting in the egg shell and absorbing I think. I do not see a yolk anywhere in there with her. She still still has not made any noise but she is breathing. Should I leave her?

Glad to here she's hatching! Is the front part of the shell off her? If she making progress on her own I would leave her be.

Half the shell approximately is off of her. She is still sitting there. She's fine and alive but she just isn't trying to come out of the shell the rest of the way. And I don't know if it matters... but her egg tooth is almost non existent

If it was in an incubator then I would say you may have to help. Under a broody I say let momma handle it. She will clean off the egg and the membrane, she will help the chick - and if there is something physically wrong with the chick she will know that too. Sometimes new mommas make mistakes - but they instinctively know better how to hatch chicks than the best incubator or human.. please let her do it? She could be crushing the egg because you are messing with her... please leave her alone and only help if the chick falls out of the nest and gets cold and doesn't go back...
