That is one of her birds in your avatar isn't it? Just beautiful! The second picture is my favorite too. Makes you just want to grab them up and cuddle them

One of my (slightly dusty) hens.

And my one of my silkie roosters was feeling lucky today and attempted to challenge my Thai gamefowl cockerel through the fence. If that silly ball of fluff only knew

That Thai Game Fowl is cool!!! I've never seen or heard of one till today

Just took some new pictures of my chicks. They sure are funny looking! In a cute way  They will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. I sure see lots of boys! My favorite is the one with the bright orange head feathers coming in. He will be a keeper. See how tiny the one lavender chick is? That is the one I helped hatch because it was upside down. Frisky little thing though :) Look how dark the one chick is that came from the blue/splash pen. Sure looks black! I will have to ask the breeder about that one.
They are so adorable !!!

do u just gently pull the feathers. I clean the hair out of my dogs ears, is it pretty much the same way with the chicken feathers

If you are ever in GA, or near there, we could meet somewhere. We just don't know about shipping chicks. I know it is done all the time but not sure how to do it. check out the new ones we have for sale at www.moonlightsilkies.com

Hi- Where in GA are you? I'm in Northwest Ga- very tip- Dade County (Trenton).

I got my first Catdance Silkies today! They are only eggs now and I still have to pick them up from my friend who picked them up at the Feather Fanciers show today and they still need to incubate and hatch but the potential to have some nice BBS Silkies is exciting. I initially got Silkies to hatch duck eggs and raise English Orpington chicks, then I started hatching the Silkie eggs in the incubator so now I want some nice Silkies worth hatching. My current flock is above hatchery quality but I want more fluff!

Change of plans for me! Getting some showgirl silkie chicks and some sizzle babies!!!!!!!!!! WooHoo! Can't wait till tomorrow! :) :) :) :)
