Cheryl, they are beauties!

JCoogle, do you know how old the rooster is? One of my buff's had long vertical wing feathers until he was just a year old. He finished a light molt and those long vertical wings molted out and now his wings are horizontal and nice!
Unfortunately, the blue in his tail is still there

Give him a good year to really see what he looks like.

I now have a splash cockerel that is 12 weeks and his wing feathers are just as bad but after seeing what happened to the buff, I'm keeping him. And he bites!

I came home today and made a b-line for the barn to see if any of my chicks had hatched and what do I see but some partridge babies!! Now this was a surprise for me because I thought that they would all be white so my partridge roo snuck one in one me!! LOL!! I no that you never no what will happen with white when it is thrown in with another color and the chicks look all partridge now but will they stay partridge in color or am I in for a color changing surprise???

Sorry that there are so many pics. It is so easy to take pics of them. They are so friendly! I can't wait to see how these guys develop.
