My hatch included one little self blue chick from porcelain parents. The other chicks peep and stuggled if you pick them up. But the Silkie chick seems to like being held, it snuggles down.

What an assorted bunch. I couldn't possibly be allowed that many in our zone so please enjoy them for ME !

My boys are definitely feistier, but it is more over-mating of the hens than aggression toward each other. My LF flock mostly. I have seven new hens to go into my flock in a few weeks so that will hopefully calm things down a bit. Springtime for sure brings out the worst in the boys. My silkie boys have been fine so far, time will tell if they stay harmonious. lol

I loved my Partridge boy but when he "overmated" his sister and started his "repeat button" crowing he had to sadly go back to the breeder (who originally told us he was a pullet LOL).

Unfortunately his single comb and it's colour make him not a very good candidate for showing or breeding. But I'm sure he'll make a lovely pet.
