What do you think of my new rooster

Wow he's a big boy! Is he a LF or bantam? I think we mostly have the bearded bantams in the USA. I love the proud stance of the Silkie boys - so alert!

Not-quite-two month old chick that I like. It looks to actually have a nice round crest-I normally get bonnets. Foot feathering looks good too.


One of my cockerels looking over two pullets (and another cockerel) dust bathing. I like this guy, especially his crest.

These are so beautiful! Love it when the white silkies dust bathe, so fun to watch and your rooster must agree!

how did it go? How old are they? When I took my chick's outside for the first time, they just stood there for about 20 minutes looking around like "where are we? There's no place like home! There's no place like home! There's no place like home!"

they disliked it :-( stood there chirping loudly no scratching no foraging just a loud chirp and followed me every step I made so kept em out about 10 min then borough them back into their brooder and they were happy as could be

they'll like it more and more each time you take them out. They hate change, but soon enough you won't be able to get them back inside!

Advice needed.... is it possible to add 3 Silkie chicks to a coop with a 2 yeard old Silkie?

Yes it is I have done it before but my silkie was 1 year when I put chicks in with it. They get along fine.
