i dont know if yall have a vet college where you are but i would contact them tomorrow if yor regular vet dosent treat chickens. i live just about 30 mins from auburn university and the have one of the largest poultry divison anround

Is there any chance that a piece of string or twine from a feed bag may have wrapped around that leg. I have seen this happen. You need to bath and clean that leg and have a very close look. I would take this one to the vet, cause you are going to need a course of antibiotics . If you find something cutting into the flesh you need to act fast.

Thats what i was thinking it looks like it may of had a band on when it was a chick and it was never taken off.
