As exciting as it is, I would treat as lockdown on an incubator, for at least three days after the first baby hatched
The anticipation is killer I know.

Can anyone help me out on this color? Hatched in the middle of the night. Would this still be considered a Splash? Both parents are Splash.

I had one hatch similar to this only it's wings are lighter, I posted a pic and didn't get any answer on what color it might be. It's about a week old and looks like it's growing partridge-y feathers.

One of Marshies chicks hatched last night! Its a cute little blonde one, so im thinking its part buff laced, since my breeder doesn't separate his colors. I relly hoping its a girl! I also hope the next one that hatches is brown or grey!

The other egg is pipped as well, so it should be out by dinner time. Im relly wanting to buy 2 other ameraucana chicks or polish chicks from my breeder to raise along with these!

You mean why the 2 died?  The one left is very good. I was just saying that I feel bad for it because it is by itself. 

I was wondering why two died and worried about the last one. Hope it's doing well.

another of my chicks has hatched...two out of 8..one hatched on day 21 and one on day 23. How much more time must I give them to hatch?
