Looks like a bonnet after all. I do hope it's a rooster, but all of my bonnets seem to end up female. A cute chick either way.

Beautiful , but looks like a pullet. Funny how when you want a roo it turns out to be a hen.

very beautiful silkie!, I did have 3 pure white silkies, and 3 pure white rooster, but a fox got my 3 girls and one of my roo!

but I've just hatched out 8 more silkies!

but I love the white silkies, they're really beautiful and fresh looking!

I too think its a hen.

Lol true. I forgot to mention if you use your kitchen sink or anywhere in your home for that matter, be sure to thoroughly sanitize/bleach the area used :>

I'm actually really interested how you run your chooks Fancychooklady!
do you only breed silkies?? and do you keep your silkies separated by colour so you can get pure colours or do you run them all together?? and how do you keep your chooks so clean?? or do you edit your pictures?? cos my silkies aren't as clean as your?!

sorry for so many questions, but I'm really fascinated!
