Silkie thread!

Im just letting him sleep and only picking him up to get him to drink
Do you have some Brewer's Yeast? It is high in B vitamins. Mix with a little water and boiled egg yoke to make a soft food. I did this (had to force feed my chick) plus gave Polyvisol and liquid B12 vitamins to a chick with a twisted neck (thiamine deficiency) and was able to save her.

Good luck with your chick!

I have officially got my silkie flock set.

Hopefully.

I have Lydia my hen whose 3. And her two babies who I hope are hens.

And last is Felicity. Her legs are going to be amputated. Vet said apparently past the knee is too far gone. So we will see if that will help. If it doesn't she will be euthanized. I've seen where they can adapt to stubs. I hate the idea. But she will be an inside chicken for the rest of her life.

I have rehomed silas, emery, 2 chicks, and roman. Due to they have crooked beak in genes. Luckily they will pets.

I now am starting over. None of the chicks I have now are related to that family. So wish me luck lol
