Silkie thread!

I've got a first time broody hen but I don't think she has gotten up ad eatin anything. I'm not sure though since I see them about 2 times a day. Should I do something for her? Her food and water is maybe a foot away so I think she could get up real quick and get it or something but I'm not sure.

I personally think if they are getting along and love each other, then leave them be I have a mixed flock of silkies, EE's, cochin bantams, buff orpingtons, barred rocks, leghorns, and red sexlinks, 2-3 of each breed and 1 heinz 57 polish mix girl. The only reason I'm about to upgrade into having a separate bantam coop is because I'm running out of room haha dang chicken math!! Good luck to you with your chickie, they are wonderful!

It's a little early to guess but so far it looks girly to me. Post some new pics in about a month and with her being beardless we should be able to see if any wattles are developing

YES please do and I'm curious about her color the picture lighting is making her look kinda blackish or maybe partridge?? What color is she to you now?
