Silkie thread!

I've got a first time broody hen but I don't think she has gotten up ad eatin anything. I'm not sure though since I see them about 2 times a day. Should I do something for her? Her food and water is maybe a foot away so I think she could get up real quick and get it or something but I'm not sure.

Quote: My chicks are all nice to each other! I seriously see no fighting ever (only with the roos and I don't how them anymore). She's fine! She just gets left behind by the others when they are free ranging (sometimes). In fact, she hates being taken away from the other chicks! She'll peep constantly for the other chicks until I put her back. She is very friendly....just doesn't like being picked up.

I personally think if they are getting along and love each other, then leave them be;) I have a mixed flock of silkies, EE's, cochin bantams, buff orpingtons, barred rocks, leghorns, and red sexlinks, 2-3 of each breed and 1 heinz 57 polish mix girl. The only reason I'm about to upgrade into having a separate bantam coop is because I'm running out of room haha dang chicken math!! Good luck to you with your chickie, they are wonderful!

Any one have any guesses on the sex of my 7 week old silkie?
