Silkie thread!

So I was at my feed store this afternoon and this lady came in with a box of 6/ 6 month old Silkie Roosters.I picked one up out of the box and he totally relaxed in my arms. He was the coolest looking chicken! Needless to say...he came home with me. :-D I know nothing about Silkies but im already in love with this rooster. I was told he is a Blue Splash. Now im going to look for some Silkie Hens. I HAVE to have more of these! Here is his pic in his new coop.

A hen can crow but it's unlikely that all 3 would be crowing . Have you got pics?

yes I'll post some pics after work they crow every morning and it sure sounds funny

I've named him "Merle" because his color reminds me of my Blue Merle Shelties and Collies I use to show.

Im off work today so I kept her in the house with me while the kids were at school. I got all the pred. in her. She is some better than last night and this am. She can hold her head up. Its not completely straight and she looses her balance and starts thrashing. I can hold her in front of the water and she can drink on her own. She also took a couple of bites of food so I'm taking that as a good sign.

That is a good sign. These things can take several weeks to resolve , seeing a result , even a slight improvement is encouraging.

This chick is so funny looking a puff ball body and nothing much on the neck and starting to get a Mohawk lol anybody have one like this?
