My friends hen was sitting on eggs so fare 2 hatched she's been off the eggs for hour now will she get back on the eggs or should I bring them and put them in my bator

Just thought I'd update on Lexi (my Silkie). She's over 10 months old and we still haven't gotten any eggs from her yet.
I haven't seen her squatting either....so any advice?

Butt shearing Trimming all the way around won't be an issue, it'll just look funny until they molt. I just pulled these 2 little cuties from my incubator. The blue/black one is so small, about half the size of the splash. I don't think I've ever had a chick so small, so I'm a little worried about it.

I had a small 1 hatch 2 the lil one is 3 days older then the other chicks it's still small

Switched out my roosters this evening. Had the one who was hurt more from their fight in the house while he healed. He's all healed up so I brought the other one in to socialize him before he goes to my brother's.
Do I need to leave Johann locked in the coop for a while again or will he be ok since he's only been inside for about a month?

My Silkies are only a month old and someone crowed today... unsure of who the culprit is! I'm really shocked! Has anyone had a chick crow this early before?

not silkie. that is so werid crowing that early. only one I have crow that early would be my speckles sussex rooster. he crowed at 7 weeks.
