My mom used to sell ito most of the stuff she got free or half price. I guess were kinda crazy for keeping their feed in a Longaberger bowl. They do such a nice job and their feed wont upset.

Hannah, they are looking really good. We will have to get together sometime...I miss seeing you (and your mom).

Edited to add: In a Longaberger bowl??? REALLY!!! The pottery we use everyday at our house and I know my animals have eaten out of them but my baskets (and I own a ton) had better not get damaged! Someone would get hurt!

Mom doesn't mind her pottery being used but she sure does love her baskets! I'm definitely planning on going to the WV chickenstock if I have off work so mom and I could see you there! Or you should come up someday to visit if your not busy

Can anyone tell me if they have gotten silkies from Ideal Poultry? My feed store Has white and black bantam silkies and I want to buy one of each. I don't know much about silkies but i'm sure i want mine to be bearded and i noticed on ideal's website that they don't guarantee bearded. Does anyone? Also my feed store says they are pullets, but Ideal only sells straight run. Anyway has anyone ever bought silkies from Ideal? And were you Happy? THanks
