I don't sell chicks but I do sell laying pullets. I get requests for eggs a lot but I hatch everything I have this time of year.

At 5 weeks, has anyone started noticing behavioral signs that their silkie is a cockerel? Mine shows all the "general" personality signs of a pullet. Scaredy, super passive compared to my polish. Rather unfriendly. Extremely dependent on my polish (whom I think is a cockerel).

Does this mean I have a pullet, or am I being premature? It's only 5 weeks.

Here's the bird in question. It's a cuckoo silkie and I am aware of the pink comb :I. The one next to it is the polish I think to be a cockerel.
