My eggs are popping like popcorn. I've been getting a lot that look like this:

It may be hard to see in the pics, but they are yellow underneath. Mixed with the blue, they look sort of khaki all over. Any thoughts as to possibly colors?
I went back and took a second look. If his primary and secondary wing feathers are smooth, he is a silkie cross. He appears to be possibly hatchery stock from what I have seen locally but if he throws better offspring than himself, he would be a keeper. I have a partridge hen that is a real poor example of a silkie in general. Her crest and cushion are lacking like your male. She doesn't have good foot feathering and she is small. But her babies are gorgeous so I keep her in the partridge pen for now. If you like him and you like what he produces, that is what counts.I had a silkie question a few pages back.
