They have feathers on their feet. I'll snap a pic in a minute. I forgot the other day!

D'uccles are also feather-legged, but will only have 4 toes.

I had my silkies tested and 1 is a rooster. My favorite one at that. My question is do they crow as loud as other breeds of roosters? I live in a subdivision so can't really have them but if it's not as loud as others, might just be ok. Thought anyone.

When I just had a single rooster, he didn't crow often. Maybe once or twice a day. Good luck!

It really depends on the bird. I have one roo that crows like a game bantam and one that crows nearly as loudly as my large fowl.
