Silkie thread!

Here are pix of my lovely Blue Silkie. We are very sad to confirm that She is a HE! We've changed his name to Sammie and now need to find a good home for him. He's very friendly, likes to be held and petted and is excercising his voice. I personally don't think his crow is any louder than a hen's egg song and especially not as loud as our Speckled Sussex's "talking." But as roosters are verboten in city limits of Spokane, I am in need of finding a good home for Sammie. He weighed in tonight at a whopping 14oz. So he is a smaller Banty. He sure makes us smile with his antics.

Best case scenario, I'd love to home him to some one who has Silkies and if possible get a female Silkie back in exchange. I realize that may not happen so then we'd just like to see him go to a home where he can live his chicken life happy and safe
