Silkie thread!

Ok so now I have the following in my Silkie flock:

1 x white roo
2 x white hens
1 x silver blue hen
1 x brown hen
1 x black hen
2 x adorable black chicks (hoping one turns out to be a roo)

the question is what colours can I expect from the non whit roos.

I have tried reading up on it and I am so lost at the moment lol

lol I meant non white hens
it all depends on the color genes that white is hiding, since most white silkies are recesive white they could be hiding any color under that, for example I need my white rooster with my buff hen and got a pair of greys, aka silver partridge, (although the cockerel looks almost like a Columbian) all that means is that my rooster is at least silver based possibly silver partridge but since I got a really dark partridge from a black roo to the same hen it is more likely that the partridge genes came from the buff hen, possibly the Columbian genes too, in which case all the white roo did was change it from gold based to silver

Thanks so its basically wait and see

My youngest babies of the year are 3 13 week old white silkies. Until this week I thought there was a decent chance that it was 1 cockerel and 2 pullets, based on the shape of their crests and combs, but suddenly all three have some shiny tail feathers. My two older buffs who I suspect are pullets don't really have those, but my splash cockerel does. Are they all boys?

@frannyglass not necessarily. I have a 4 month old silkie who is a pullet but she has rather long tail feathers. They're teensy bit shiny but not like her cockeral bro.

Is this a blue silver hen? I'm getting her today
She almost looks Porcelain with Blue Leakage. Or atleast from what I could tell, though I'm just a begginer ^^. She is a beautiful silkie though, where are you getting her from? I would love to buy a similar silkie once i sell my other 2 in fair, and trade the rest (accept for my favorite, Quinn, because she is my favorite Barred Rock) for fertilized silkie eggs.
