Probably going to do a test mating with him over my little Marauder girl.

I ended up with so many boys I had to re-home a couple of them that I was not going to breed from. At this point I am hoping I have at least 2 girls out of the 11.

Mine do that too... I thought they were being mean at first but it kept happening and not with the same hen so I watched closely and realized what was going on and stopped interfering.It is so funny to hear owners are trimming their Silkies. I have two hens that will nibble each other's face fluff just around the eyes only so they can see. Since my two girls do it for each other I thought it was a common Silkie thing and never figured I needed to do it for them LOL.
IMHO no medicated feed. after 2 weeks of age. Some don't feed it at all but in my experiences up to 2 weeks worked better for me.Any tips for silkie chicks?
