How beautiful. Won't it be fun to watch her grow and feather out?
Hello Silkie lovers! Sorry I've been away from this thread so long. Just wanted to share a couple before after pics of two of my fav silkies/sizzles. First a few days old and now when they are about 3 months! Any one want to take a stab at the guesses of the sex of these two? I would love to breed them out. Terminator (the little white one) I really enjoy. He/she has very unique feathers for a Silkie in that they almost have no silkiness and are pretty much just regular feathers.

Mama and her cuckoo silkie baby
Hey there Silkie people! I was bored last night and finally got around to doing something I've been wanting to do for ages... I dyed my White Silkie ladies! I originally wanted to do red and green to get in the spirit of the season, but I didn't have any red, so I did blue instead.

My camera wasn't working this morning when they were dry and ready to go back outside, but I'll try to get some pics of them fully dry when I get home!
that's awesome! If you do red and green at some point this holiday season, please post pics!
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
