That's a *huge* amount of ivermectin! I mean ginormous! How big is a q-tip drop? Pea size?

Yep, it is a lot for only my 4 hens. A Q-tip drop is about 1/8-1/4 the size of a pea. It's not expensive and I just toss the leftover tube of paste after the expiration. I get through about half a tube for several applications (3 to 4x/yr ea hen) before I toss. BTW thx for helping @DarleneE with her ill EE. Told her she was getting good consul from you!!

Not the foggiest clue. Found them on Craigslist. I don't have a place I can keep roosters so I wasn't worried about lineage, just some fun birds for the kids.

My flock is 4 months old now, I was wondering if I should switch to layena. Or keep them on grower feed till spring when the girls will start laying.

I have mine on a general flock feed, figure they don't need the calcium till they are using it.
